I have witness first hand of abuse. My father would abuse his girlfriends, and my mom. later he started abusing me. So I know how it feels. It is terrifying. That period of time was the most scariest in my life. Even though I am a grown woman now, I have not experienced domestic violence from anyone I have dated. The hurt and pain is still there. As a child growing up in that type of environment it is hard to forget. I always prayed to God I will never get involved with somebody like my father. My future husband also has witness his own mother being abused and even been shot by his father. We are hoping to help other women and kids who been through and who are going through this. I commend you for helping these women get on their feet and to let them know that they do not have to live through this anymore and that someone do care.

I used to get my eyebrows done at Lamik (Sharpstown) I must say nobody could do my eyebrows like I wanted them like Kim. I love the oil absorbing matting powder.

I had always heard that this was the same "Minnie" that I lived across the street from and played with as a very young child. I would love to say hello and congratulate her on her varied and impressive accomplishments. Did she live in Alamo Texas as a young girl and did she have a brother named Froy? My name was Christy Thompson back then and I have fond memories of our childhood in the Rio Grande Valley where my father was a local pastor of the church there.
